The name “Lauren Relinquished” was chosen after hearing God clearly speak on the importance of letting go and laying all cares, worries, passions, anxieties and fears at His feet. Therefore, it is not just a name, but a way of living.
Lauren aspires to live out her purpose daily by relinquishing control to God to order her steps and by submitting and learning from the surprises of life. Therefore, the art of relinquishment is no easy feat. However, she delights in opportunities to share and encourage others by being transparent and honest with her journey moments in hopes it will help someone else also RELINQUISH.

Outside of writing and encouraging, find Lauren creating apparel for Relinquish Wear, people-watching, being goofy, lost in a book, hanging with friends/family, having concerts in her car, wishing she was a rapper, dancing poorly, snapping pics and being awkward.

You are truly an inspiration to me and I am so amazed at what The Lord is doing in your life. He brought you in my life to help me to better grasp that I am not the only single, young woman striving to love my life for Him and to also have someone that could minister to me to help me keep everything in perspective. This website, already such a blessing to my life & many others, is just the beginning of all of the marvelous plans that God has for your life. I can only hope and pray that 15+ years from now, we will look back and have so many great memories that we have made throughout our friendship. I laughed while reading this because we are so much alike I too have been taking matters into my own hands and doing things that God did not tell me too.
